The Ford
County CrimeStoppers is a non-for profit organization
whose Board of Directors are volunteers from Ford
County. Ford County CrimeStoppers began in October 1998
in cooperation with the Ford County Board. Since that
time, they have been very active in the community
conducting a variety of activities in the past like
taking fingerprints and photos of children and
establishing their records.
In the past
CrimeStoppers have supplied rollerblade/skate and
bicycle helmets to children and adults throughout Ford
County at our events. We also did fingerprinting of
children at our events.
CrimeStoppers would like to thank everyone for attending
the fund raisers in the past and showing their support.
In the past
CrimeStoppers have also done Child Photo IDs that would
aid the Police, if the Child would become lost or
kidnapped.
CrimeStoppers
are in need of people that are interested in being on
the CrimeStoppers Board of Directors. If you are
interested in being considered as a board member, please
contact the Ford County CrimeStoppers. Interested
parties may contact Dean J. Knittel, board president,
for further information at 815-949-1768.
